Corporate Counsel (m/f/d) - New York

We are hiring a leading US-based Fintech that is looking for a Corporate Counsel to support the business with commercial matters.

Tasks

• Support the business teams and act as the primary legal point of contact for commercial matters.

• Work closely with management to identify and minimize the risks arising from commercial agreements and business proposals involving the company.

• Participate actively in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing various types of commercial agreements, mainly customer and supplier contracts.

• Review RFPs and support the business teams in the preparation of business proposals.

• Prepare legal opinions and contract summaries for the business teams and Management..

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience legal experience.

• Experience in commercial negotiation, contract management, and contract law.

• Excellent writing and communication skills.

• Organization skills, adaptability, and ability to evolve in a dynamic and changing environment.

• Team player, sense of initiative, positive attitude, and excellent ability to simplify complex notions.

• Autonomy and resourcefulness.
